It boasts loads of great posting features and has a mobile App, but right now there is no Desktop App. Well by using a very clever Mac Desktop App called Fluid you can “Turn Your Favorite Web Apps into Real Mac Apps” which means that yes you can convert Hootsuite Web Site into a standalone Mac App.
Simply open Fluid and enter the Hootsuite URL “http://hootsuite.com” (no need to Add an icon as that is automatically found) click Create and bingo your Hootsuite Desktop App is ready.
The only limitation is that you will need to Log in if you have closed the App, but other than that if you leave it open Hootsuite simply goes into sleep mode.

Right now Fluid App is only for Apple users.
